alright, i'm just now gettin around to buying new paddles. For a while i've been set on getting skat~trak extremes... but i dont know if i should go with the haulers.

What do you guys think. Skat~trak's website says that the extremes are just like the haulers but the paddles are a little thicker for more durability. also how many paddles should i run. I've got a esr310pv ... i was thinkin 8 paddles
Lemme know
-thanks

id would get the 9 paddle extremes. your quad has enough power to turn them and and the extra paddle will help climbing steep dunes. your quad has quite a bit of power and for the extra $20 reinforced paddles would probably be a good investment.

I had the 9 (20.11.10) paddles but I didn't like them as much as my extreme 10 paddles (22.11.8).

The 10's seem to have more of an instant hook up....

but then again, it depends on gearing, power, rider weight, etc...

What do you want to do with your R in the sand? Drag, Trail, etc??? :ermm:

Well, I do a little bit of everything... i do a little jumping, some trails, but i love dragging.
I have stock gearing, 310pv 210psi, i weigh 160

My stock drag ported cylinder on alcohol pulled the 10 paddle extremes pretty good. It would pull a wheelie every time I'd launch in 1st...had to let some air out b/c they bit so hard. Can't go wrong with extremes.

I'd go with 9 extremes at the least.

10inch wheels with a 20inch tire allow for more spinning and hence "digging" into the sand.

8inch wheels with a 22inch tire allow for more floatation and better hookup. More sidewall allievates "digging."

I play ride and like to have good traction and am fine with sacrificing my ability to do endless donuts. I've ran through 8-10p sls haulers and 8-10p sls extremes (all 69+ through 71+ r/o) on my 300 and 343 pro-x's. I've found the 9p extreme 22x11x8 to work the best (it's in a 69r/o) with a 12/39 gearing on a +4 swingarm for the 300.

From what information you've provided, I wouldn't go with more than a 9 paddle extreme unless you want to sacrifice some play riding. Don't get a SLS (possibly not even a B2B) buff if you want to jump a fair amount.

SLS and B2B are some of the buffs that are offered. You can get a hauler with a half buff, B2B which is the whole tire (bead to bead) buffed, and then SLS which is a B2B buff 2 times. This results in the lightest and thinnest carcass.

Well just to let everyone know, I went with the 21x12-8 (9paddles) and was finally able to try em out at the dunes today. It was amazing how much of a difference they make. In fact, most of the time, i was hooking up too good and was bout flippin over backwards.
Before, I was getting smoked by everyone. Now I'm Right with the Banshee's and if i have a good run, I was beating them.
Just thought i'd let u guys know... and thanks for the help.
