View Full Version : steering stem slop bent?

when I do wheelies or jump my front end clunks I can pull up on bars and stem moves up and down maybe quarter inch (just guessing) is this bearings or bent stem? Just bought so dont know if he hit something or this is just normal wear.

tighen the nut at the bottom or the nuts at the bottom of the handle bar clamps

just tried the bottum nut didnt work

try where it bolts to the frame near the top like in front of your gas tank.

ok Ill try tomorrow its getting late I get up for work at 4.Thanks for the help.Ill let you know if it works.

It would have to be a bad bearing at the bottom then. If the nut on the bottom is tight, then it has the be a bad bearing. No worries they are only around $7
