yfz wont start

i busted the cases on my yfz. so i replased them. i got it all put back together and now it wont start. it just backfires out the exhaust like it is out of time. i double checked the cams and everything is right. i dont know what else it could be because it was running fine before.

If your 100% sure timing is right then check to see if your getting fuel and spark?


Could the timing be 180 out?

do not try and start it again till you check your timing AGAIN!

this could be a real problem!! it happend on my z400 when i put in a new cam chain and its easy to do and not know it. check this first.

Pull started it. Starts with the key every time now. A local machanic said he had to do a couple the same way.

your very lucky you diddnt mess up your valves from pre-mature ignition.
