I need to do the first transmission oil change and need to know what oil, oil weight and amount?
I tried the search function but it will not accept three letter words like "oil".
Thank you in advance,
Lance

I use a Bel-Ray Gear Saver oil 75-80, It is pretty thin and protects well.
I never measure but overfilling doesn't hurt much. (Except Horsepeower).
Minimum is 200ML.
You can use Lucas , Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Maxima, silkolene. etc, etc.

Synthetic gear oil. I use 80W
And it's a little less than 4 oz I believe.

I will chim in as well. USE SYNTHETIC. It keeps the temps down. And make sure to use gear lube. I don't think the weight is as important as long as it's quality gear lube. I use Amsoil 75W90 and it works great but will be switchin to the Bel-Ray soon as that is what I'm using for premix and seem to have found good prices. Just to add to Billy's comment, overfilling is not bad and will keep temps down a tad more but rob HP. And he knows way more than me so take HIS word for it.
