The kill tether switch on the Drx 70 suddenly stopped working. I can start the 70, but the kill tether will not shut the motor off. I have to unplug the wire and touch it to the frame to kill it.
I have removed the starter and all the extras, just running the minimum wiring. No problems for 4 months until now. It is the stock kill tether.
Also, is it necessary to use the overflow bottle? I have never used it and haven't noticed any problems.
Thanks for any help,
Dalton

Can't tell you a lot on the tether problem, but they do recommend about 1" of coolant in the overflow.

Got it!! The internal part of the plunger thing in the tether was stuck and wouldn't come out. Looks like I need a new tether kill.
Thanks

Definitely need the "expansion" bottle. You will loose coolant and go dry (Not good).

I dont know this pro armor but PRO DESIGN is what we have used for 3 years and never a problem and just about everyone I know uses it as well

That little black center piece is what the problem was right they have a small spring and normally everyone leaves them in even after you shut down this keeps the spring compressed and then it down want to recoil after a while

happy ridin...

Pro Design or the Pro Armor, We personally like the Pro Design, but either one works great.......
