I would love to hear some of your plans and what you think will happen at your first race. Then, as the season unfolds, maybe you could reply back to this thread and let us know how it went:D

Did a VXCS with Dopeyferry last season, but I only did one. This year theres 8 of those, and I'm planning on hitting 6 or more, and maybe trying a GNCC, so I guess you can still call me a noob.

I still remember when I first got my 300 up at breezewood, and you had to help me get it in reverse pappy, lmao. Come to find out some wires were unplugged on the handlebars when I got it home, works good now!

I raced a few times in my early 20's, but I havent raced in 9 years. I will probably race a couple races this year on my 330ex just to get the feel of it again, and get to know the folks runnign the series, do some volunteering etc.. Then next year I'll probably run a full season on a 450.

Will be racing in the OXC Series in Missouri now that MHSC dumped the ATV guys. Better for me anywat, most the the MHSC races were on the East side of the state. These are more centeralized.

I was going to but I got talked out of buying my shocks, i decided to save my money for my insurance and possibly a vehicle..

I wanted TCS triple rates with remote rezzies from C&D but even then they were just so expensive, i don't want to go cheap either because you should do it right the first time.

I may still race but I don't know if my quad or me can handle stock shocks...:ermm: :(

i really want to race but i had the worst time ever at B-wood on a quad when I'm on the track because of my shocks.

I still may see some of you D-6 racers in the C or B class I'm not sure yet but it really is depressing i mean it kills when all you really need is good shocks.

C class in D-6 harescrambles are packed with fully worked 450's. Not to worry though. They still cant ride to save their lives.

This coming season will be my first "serious" year of racing. I did race my old Z400 two years ago twice, but the second time I broke my arm. And, I'm not old enough to race my ltr yet until March. Our whole team will be doing all of the PAMX races, some of the WPSA races, maybe a National or two, and when none of that is going on, I will probably do a couple local D6 races.

UPDATE:

Talked to my dad tonight, and this is what he said.

If i do 4 or 5 TT races with my 400ex so i get the hang of it better, then he'll let me race his insanely fast banshee:eek2:

That way i can keep up with the rest of the pack and take corners better.

Im so excited! Heres the 400ex and the shee ill be racin!

that banshee will be a fast mutter on the straights but i hope your are ready to push that thing threw them corners, i dont know about you but i never could do any thing on a banshee on a tt track, imo youd be better off fixin the 400 up, cause shell corner so much better in the corners and to win a tt race you gotta be fast in the corners

I think its easier in the corners.

When i go to the track to watch, everyone purposely slides around the entire turn.

The banshee i can hold a slide for much longer, and that track isnt about handing, its about speed and control.

i have never been to a D6 MX event. I was going to, but i dont have the tire setup so i stick to XC. D6 is known for some of the nastiest tracks around. i love it though. Rocks everywhere and once you get a nice suspension under you, you can just keep the hammer down. First XC race in D-6 isnt until April, so I will be traveling for some pre season action.
