what are the advantages and disadvanteges of 400ex a-arms and shocks on a 250x/300ex?

where can i get the relocator mounts for the 400 ex shocks? anyone have pics of them or know the measurements? or pics of quads with the front ends?

do the shocks and a-arms give it a good ride for like not exactl track but like rough tracks feilds that type of riding?

is the turning still good with this mod?

please post all the info and pics you guys know about this or PM me cause im on the verge of buyin the front end and i need answers!!!!!

i put some 400 shocks and a arms on my 300 and i love the extra suspension...negatives are the turning radius is not what the stock shocks are, not even close but to me the added suspension overweights that problem. I found the shock conversion kit on ebay the site below shows the mounts are going for $12 now. It was a little tricky getting them to fit but with a little ingenuity it can be done. Another problem that i'm having is that the tires are leaning to the center of the bike which causes uneven wear on the tires, just posted to see if anyone else is have the same problem. I found the 400 a arms brakes and hubs for $100 in decent shape so keep your eyes open. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-300EX-to-400EX-Shocks-Conversion-Kit-also-250X_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43974QQihZ008QQite mZ180199799533QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
