Which of these three is a better mx cam?
HC stg. 2
Sparks mx cam
2 Crf cam
And are these drop ins or do they require more work?
I heard the 02' CRF cam is a really good mid range cam so I imagine it would work well...look over at 450r h q . c o m they have pretty good info

I've herd many times that the sparks mx cam is a rebranded 02 CRF cam.

I have an 02 CRF but that thread makes the 03 CRF look REALLY amazing.

my understanding is that the Sparks mx cam is a repackaged 02 crf cam...

If you are interested in the Sparks/02 CRF cam LMK...I am about to put one up for sale. I liked it in my 05 (actually better than the HCS2 I had in it before) for just about everything, but I went with a WEB 208 for the new engine.
All of the cams you mentioned are just drop-in and go.
