What all would need to be done to a stock YZ 125 to set it up for racing GNCC and local harescrambles?
I'm NEW to the bike world,so it doesn't need to be set up to run with the PRO's.
Thanks

suspension, suspension, suspension, proper jetting, reeds, pipe guard, drop a tooth in the front sprocket, brushguards, skid plates, and any other trail mod you think is needed.

bark busters , heavy duty tubes michelin ultra heavy dutys are AWSOME,radiator guards are a good thing to have , i ran 200b this year on an 06 yz125 and the suspension was completly stock besides having the oil changed a few times , droping a tooth in the front helps, raise the forks up in the triple clamps 8mm and it quickens the sterring (works on 06 that i no of but may help others ), bigger gas tank is good to i could run 2 hour races without filling up with 3.1 gal tank, good tires thats prety much it

If you really think You'll be in tight stuff, maybe a flywheel weight.
