Need Black 400ex seat titled "Sportrax"

Does anyone know the part number for the OEM seat that has Sporttrax on the side? At the following website it shows the seat only on the 2001, but when the dealer looks it up on Microfiche it shows fourtrax. 400ex Variations (http://400excentralky.tripod.com/id12.html)

That should be correct according to the parts finder, but to be sure you might want to call the people at Honda / Yamaha of Troy or Service Honda, they'll know for sure!

I have confirmed that the part number given is correct. Honda USA customer services confirm the seat states Sportraxhttp://www.atvsource.com/manufacturers/honda/2001/prod_line/trx400ex_y.jpg

Can someone confirm that a 2001 seat will be exact replacement on a 2005 400ex?

The seat will fit fine if that is what you mean, since I ordered that same seat by mistake (I wanted black seat with white Honda on it) So you should be fine! :)

I have a nice seat cover but it says "Honda" on the side. It came off of my 2003. No rips, tairs, or fading. It is black. If you are interested, I will sell it to you for $15.. if that sounds good to you.. obo.. ;)

Thanks for you help. The seat has been ordered through Service Honda. This will work great since I also have a Ford Explorer Sport Trac and now a Honda Sportrax.
