Buying headunit

Ive been looking for a new one since my Alpine is crapping out on me and I came across another Alpine on ebay USED.

Its $50 buy it now

Should I get this one or should I buy a new one for $100?
The seller has 100% positive feedback and 100 transactions.

For 50 bucks used vs. 100 bucks new I'd go new everytime.

Also take into effect if you are keeping your car for a long time, etc. No sense cutting corners if you are keeping your car 4 more years, but if you are selling it this summer the used one will probably hold out for ya.

Ill be keeping this truck for awhile, I was just thinking that this used one looks like its in pretty good condition and its half what a new one cost so I was thinking if it works fine that would give me the other $50 to buy something else.

But I guess Ill buy a new one.

I mean make up your own decision, just technology products is not something I would buy used....anymore. Tried to get a JL 500/1 amp used off ebay one time, guess what it was half off!

Instead of paying close to $500 this was a little more than $250, didn't work, got burned. Good luck.

Yea I understand what your saying. The reason I made this post was because I wasn't sure about buying used.

Is the Alpine CDE-9870 I good head unit? I like the price the best out of the Alpines :p
