Pappy, I just had some stuff powdercoated and am not totally thrilled with the outcome. I'm thinking I'll bite the shipping bullet and send some stuff to you but I'd like to know if you can match colors or can you find/get just about anything if I give you a color number and powder make?

I need to match a swingarm to this:

It's just a light grey with an aluminum flake. It didn't need a clear for UV protection.

OR do you have a color that closely matches the OEM honda frame color? Does it require a clear coat?

Also, I had a frame done in a Safety Red and it almost looks like it has a gold flake but is really just a bunch of pitting - pin pricks. Is that normal or just a poor job?

Last thing: Your 2008 GNCC preview pictures are AWESOME. I don't know how you get everything so sharp when objects(riders) are moving so fast.

Do you have any pictures in general or of your kids that you would want a custom oil painting done of? Maybe work it into a trade off? I used to do oil painting (I can post some pics of old stuff) and would like to do some more and I figured I'd start with some ATV action shots.

I use rally silver with clear to match the stock colors. it is a tad brighter but is really close.

The issue with the pinholes is common, especially on a part where a touch of extra powder may be required to get full coverage..frames being one of them. it can come from powder thickness being on the heavy side...or water/oil in the air supply and outgassing. (the frames I am sorry to say are junk metal and this is a growing issue as I talk with shops from all over the country and the powder manufacture) some colors are more forgiving some are worse. honestly, if it doesnt show unless your down on the part really close, it wouldnt bother me as it should not affect its strength.

thanks on the pics, im a nikon ninja:devil:

not sure on the oil, but would love to see some of your work!!!

I'll see if I can find the specific color.

Here's some pics of my old paintings. These are really old from when I was learning. They are crap in my eyes now, but I think I can do a lot better now.

I used to just paint from a lot of calendars and Sports Illustrated but would like to do something completetly original now.
