It's hard to say as far as the cranks go, but I know from personal experience the OEM bearings last a LOT longer. I wouldn't buy anything but OEM Honda anyways.

from what ive heard they are about the same, they are close in price too so ive just been buying stock cranks, either way they arent holding up like they should, there is no reason for cranks to be shot before one season. but anyway i did talk to a couple race shops and they say both are pretty close, neither have strict tolerances though

We rebuild a lot of motors and have been using Hot rods cranks for a long time with out any failures.

I dont see too many crank failures on either, its the crank bearings usually or the rod bearings.

oem cranks. We had to run a hot rods crank in one of johnnys race bikes this year cause oem crank was on back order and he dropped a valve and bent the rod compared to six oem cranks that had been through the same thing that were not bent. i am a firm believer in oem parts especially for the hondas.
