I know this topic has been hit around a bunch of times before but I just want to confirm some things.

-What do I have to do with the TPS sensor wires?

-I need to grind a small lip off the carb to fit on the NOSS Machines adapter?

-The NOSS adapter works with the 41mm 07 CRF carbs?

-The NOSS adapter with the 05 OEM air boot works better then the 06 OEM air boot by it self because of air turbulence problems I hear?

-Will the hot start cable that comes with the CRF carb work with a ASV lever? Or wil the ASV cable I'm using on my stock 05 carb work on the FCR?

ANYTHING else I need to know for installation? Please be detailed.

i ran an 07 crf FCR on my 04. it was taper bored by DRG to 43mm. i had the NOSS adapter also. i used it with my stock 04 airboot. i used the stock crf hotstart cable with my ASV lever and it worked fine. you'll have to cut the TPS plug off your 450R carb and wire it to the crf carb. i had Chad at DRG set-up everything. give him a call at 301-910-9850. he's a carb guru!

Anyone know if this is the correct wiring conversion?

best thing i can think of for the wiring conversions is find someone with the crf manuals and just check the wiring diagram.

The TPS conversion info can be found on the .org. I have had success with the 06 airbox on my 04 with the CRF carb.

Ya chad pointed me to that, there was a few stickies that helped.

Was there any reason u went for the 06 air box instead of using an adapter ring?
Just more air flow? or a turbulence problem or something?

I'm thinking the 06 air box would be a lot more money.
Plus I already have mulitlpe air filters and an outwears cover for my 05 air box.

I was hoping to find some horsepower with the additional air from the larger (06-) box/filters. I got good money out of my 04 box and filters on e-bay.

Your right, the adaptor would be a cheaper option.
