ok... so today my bike was starting to get hard to shift... so i changed all the oils in it thinking that would help... once i got done i warmed up my bike to check them.. then once i put it in gear it started rolling forward fast... as if i bearly let the clutch go.. but then when i would bearly give it any gas it would feel like it ingadged again and it would stop rolling... same with the gears... if it was idleing it would be HARD to shift threw gears.. but if i gave it a little gas it would shift fine no problems? what would this be? need a new clutch or what?

Does your clutch cable have too much slack?

check clutch cable and make sure its snug and if that aint it then check your plates. 9/10 times im going to say your plates are just fried.
If you replace your clutch, make sure your clutch basket is not grooved, if it is it's time to replace it.

I'm with Rulz check the basket for grooves. It will cause the plates to get hung up and will also cause it to be hard to find neutral....

It's common problem with all quads.

i agree. it either a grooved basket, inner hub or both. grooves in the basket or inner hub will hold the plates, not allowing things to dis-ingage after pulling the clutch lever.

over time a grooved basket will start to wear clutches, plates and possible do damage to the tranny if raced or ridden hard. not to mention decrease performance.
for a peace of mind. i would atleast look into whats causing the problem. its a simple matter of pulling the clutch cover and inspecting the basket and inner hub. while in there take a look at the rest of it.
baskets are farely cheap by comparison.

I had a problem with my basket. The basket was actually rocking around on the mainshaft.
The rivets were worn that held the ring gear to the back side of the basket. Its a common problem. you can check that out while you have the side cover off
