i have a 2002 400ex 426 big bore kit, k&N filter, full big gun exhaust. i had been haveing issues with starting it when it was cold so i replaced the piolet jet to a #42 jet and now it doest wanna start at all. i dunno how big a deal it is but when replaceing the jet theres a little plastic ring that slides over the main jet that you have to remove to get to the piolet and i lost it and i didnt think it was doing anything to important so i reinstalled the carb without it, i dunno if that could be part of it. also the new jet i got was a little bit longer than the one that was in it, the threads were in the same place and the guy at the dealership said it wouldnt hurt anything. any help would be appriciated thanx
