actually come to think of it 12,000 isnt really a huge number for how long he has been a member. Look how many I have and I've only been a member since July 2007. I like to reply or help in almost every forum.

adapted an entire banshee rear end to my old blassie.

ALOT of fab. work and time.

All parts are- banshee swinger/axle/hydralic brake system

worked out nice. +4W with stock rims and like +8W with aftermarket. +1 longer

pretty sweet cheap way if you know how to fabricate, had all the banshee parts sittin around! :)

there aint much fabricating to put the banshee axle in a blaster, or the rear brake, just gotta make a mount for the master cylinder and that other part that goes to the brake pedal. and for swapping the front brakes i just think you have to drill something out if i recall correctly. i aint got no pictures, but i cut out the airbox on my blaster and rigged the fenders up so they were attached to the seat and came off when you pull the seat off, just like a 400ex.

no, the banshee SWINGER took alot of fab.

We had to cut it so it can bolt onto the engine part, where as the banshee normally goes straight across..

We made it exactly precise so no dirt gets in there and eats away the bearings

oh, i see what your saying. sorry about that. i knew people put banshee axles in there, cuz they are wider, but puttin the banshee swinger in there was new to me. once again, sorry about that

no prob, lol:p

it was a fun project.

My blassie handled so much better after that and it climbed a lil better from the swinger being +1

I Will have to get a camera from my g/f to show a couple mods I did,

1.Made the key fit into the reverse hole on the 05 plastics.
2.re-wired with a GN-4 connector to use a raptor tail light and installed a brake light switch on front brake lever (before the 450 came out) able to take it off for track riding and put it back on for trail riding.

I know there is a few more I just cant think of them at the moment...

i made a mud screen that is attached to the front frame rails by the bumper so the oil coller didnt get cloged on muddy days. soon i will be making a thick chassis skid moddifying the subframe to accept a grab bar and a flip top subframe. Will also be fabing up a custom air box and oil tank.

LMAO!!! That steering stabilizer is awesome! You could put that in some fancy packaging and sell it for three times what it costs. How does it work? Can you compare it to any aftermarket stabilizers?

At first it was a little stiff compared to any of the aftermarket ones we have used but break in and playing with the length of the steering shaft connecting rod have made it work very well.

I am actually going to try for making small business with custom things for a 400ex and later move on to other quads. I have some great ideas that once perfected will be a huge hit.

It could be what PEP used I don't know.
I can't take credit for the fabrication I have a buddy that is just anal when it comes to fabricating things like this usually when he builds something it looks better than something you can buy.
