just wondering if i can get away with dichin the hot start. i dont have any serious motor work just a cam.

i think its just like a squirt of gas cuz i can idle around the yard just by using the hot start

the hotstart is not a shot of gas, it opens a valve in the carb, and brings in hot air, to lean out the system to aid in starting when the engine is warm

Ya it leans the mixture by adding air.

You can get an aftermarket clutch perch with hot start lever and get rid of your light switches. ASV makes a great one and has the hot start cable with it.

I wouldn't recommend not having it. It does help when you get use to using it in the humid summer.

for now remove it and put the cable under the hood. I dd that at first with mine. I know have aftermarket clutch lever and it has it, but I need another cable for it though. :(

I thought I had new pics online guess not on this new site. I'll find it and add to see when I cleaned up mine. Then I added my lockon grips as well. They work great btw.
