Looking good. What color is the body.

red right now, but i was thinking white would be the way to go with this color frame? any other ideas?

White would be sharp. Black might be decent as well.

Thats a lot of gussets!!!! From our own experience we have caused more breakage from over gusseting these frames. They need to flex a little in certain places to keep others from snapping. We currently use about 10 total on ours and have not broken any more. Just my personal trials, yours looks great!!! What suspension set-up are you going to use? We found the stock swingarm will bend pretty fast with a hard rider and strong frame. Try the DC Roundhouse style,makes the chain adjusting much easier as well. Keep up with the pics and info on the progress.

anyone have a pic of this post from shock to motor mount? yes i have the new square swing-arm & will reinforce it also, as for suspension set-up (I may open a can of worms) i'm still looking any suggestions

THANKS for the info what does this gusset do, reinforce the shock mount? & was this modified for more chain clearance with the notch in the frame?

Yes and yes (for LT setup). That's what I was told.

thanks again, this info is great saves me alot of time & money (i hope) any suggestions on shocks pros & cons, becasue i really like fox for the big bikes but for the small they don't seem to work so well?

I have no experience with fox but we run elkas on ours and they work really well for us. We use the RR36C up front with preload and compression adjustments (elka does pretty good on the valving and rebound is not worth the extra $200) and the RR36CR in the rear with preload,compression,and rebound adjustments. If your rider is real agressive or over 90lbs I would reccommend going with the long travel setup. Also on the other side we have found that riders under 60lbs that arent really agressive or real big jumpers have excellent results on stock components.

Fox just released their new mini shocks, they are going to be pretty much the same shock as the big quads use but built for the mini's. Mine are on their way should have them soon, they will be put on my son's Kasea with DC's long travel front end. I Think the Fox shocks are going to be the way to go.....

I am also told the new mini fox shock is the way to go....I recently got ishock as a sponsor and will be finding out if it holds the key to elkas thrown as well... anyone with info on ishock I would appreciate the info myself

The only way to go for racing mini shocks is MOTOWOZ. They"re prices are very reasonable and are racer only oriented. American made is a plus in my book as well!

We've had a few customers that were on Fox and/or Elka that rode the MOTOWOZ shock and switched.

Check them out! We are a dealer for them and so far really like the company.

Thats cool to hear. They are here in MN and sponsor our District racing. Almost all the mini quads and about half the big quads run them.

Best shock available for the mini's. We dont't currently run them but hopefully will. We run against many kids who have them and they are awaesome. Every parent/rider that runs them will never buy anything else. If you have the $$$ for a great shock these are it.
