I got to see it run hard for the first time today. Sure looks like it has what it takes!

This is funny becasue my leatt brace hasnt made it in yet...that was my jacket that made it look like a brace...but i will be riding with a Leatt for the new season.

How did the temp run in taped up mud mode?

The temp. ran right where it was supposed to all day. The hot light never once came on, and the fan kept the motor running cool the way it was supposed to. This DS still has the "Limp Mode" in it, when the quad gets to hot it will shut down. I never excperienced any of that and this was the second race in the mud on it so far. I have also put about 6 additional hard riding hours on it, still no problems. The Ds did start to sputter on me on the last lap and I looked down to see the fuel light was on. We had raced for 1 hour and 50 mins, and i hadnt stopped to get gas. This thing is light, fast, and handles very well, so for all those bashers of the Can-Am, you better see what this thing is actually gonna do before you start assuming things.

Congrats on the win Brent.
I especially liked how you gave the kid your trophy. Thanks for keeping it a family sport. That kid will cherish that trophy for a long long time.

So, what got you held up in the first lap? Traffic jam in the woods? You really made up a lot of time really fast. Nice racing. Full credit to the rider. The DS gets credit for surviving. Looks like you were giving it a good beating. ;)

Yes,Team LTE will be using AXIS and Houser. As for my first couple of laps...... I was making errors in stupid places. I got high centered on a rock on a hill....had to turn the quad around and head back up. 1/4 mile later a stick jammed into the a-arm and I could not turn, ended up in a huge mudhole. Once i warmed up from the cold and got into my race groove i was being smooth and making no mistakes, that has always been a key for winning races....smooth=fast.
