the best advice is to use the search button...atleast 50 threads on this.

Use a sawzall or something similair.

Its not hard either. You can use a sharpie and mark out the lines you want to use when you cut. Any excess marker can be taken off with rubbing alcohol.

You can use a knife (non-serated) to clean up the edges when you get done cutting.

Just be sure that you dont cut the mounting brackets off when you cut the fenders.:D

Good luck!;)

i havent dont mine because i ride alot of trails but ive watched other ppl do theres and all you do is get some electrical tape and make a layout that you would like to have then get a razor knife and jsut cut on the edge of the tape that you layed out.. then get a lighter and heat the edge that you jsut cut to make it kinda smooth but im sure that other guys are going to have different ways to do it...

I used masking tape to lay out the cuts. Then I cut it with my sawzall using a fine metal blade. To finish it up I used a file.

Hey, here how I did mine. There are going to be a ton of pics!

I used a grinder:

and I used duck-tape and a sharpie to mark my lines
When you use a grinder make sure its not chiped like mine:

Or this will happen:scary:

But I fixed it real nice.. See.. ;)

This stuff works mirricles! As seen in my other thread! :D
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa283/braaup/100_1771.jpg

and this it how my fenders look now!

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa283/braaup/100_1775.jpg

It looks alot neater than it is in the pics.. ooh! and I forgot to use the torch to make em' nice!

So remember, use electrical tape, not duck-tape, use erasible markers, not sharpies, use a good blade, not a chiped one, and take your time and dont rush it! everything that I did, but different.. lol :p

heres how i did mine. its pretty simple, but i used a hacksaw instead of a sawzaw. when i tried the saw zaw it just vibrated my plastics too much.

quick question. By any chance could you measure the distance straight across from the upper plastic bolt to the side of the air scoop?
