I have another thread about this, but I just want to get this 1 question answered.

I went to the local Honda Shop and I asked the guy who worked their how I should jet my 400EX for a K&N. He he go up 2 sizes. I didn't think about asking him this. Is it 2 sizes as a 152 jet or 2 jet sizes as a 155? What do you think? I am thinking about just buying both and see whats best..

2 sizes would mean a 152 correct me if i'm wrong. Stock is 148. Just buy an array of jets to see which works best and you will have jets for future mods.

you really have no grasp on this do you...2 sizes up means two jet sizes over where you are at now...

Stock jets are 148 keihin sized main jet and pilot is a 38 keihin. Jet sizes are numbered like 140, 142, 145, 148, 150, 152, 155, 158, 160, and so on and so on. The lower the number, the smaller the jet. Don't get Dynojet and Keihin jets confused. They have a different numbering/size chart and they don't cross over. Go to www.jetsrus.com to buy individual keihin jets. I recommend buying a 150K, 152K, 155K, 158K and atleast a 40K pilot jet and keep them on hand until you find out what jetting works best for your quad. Lots of your questions have already been answered in this forum as well as the "How to" section. Try the search feature. You'd be amazed at what you find.

using the search would help or he could just try reading in his other thread that everyone has posted in...

not to be critical of him, but this was his 2nd or 3rd post asking essentially the same question or something that was explained to him elsewhere...
