header bolt stripped

where my header bolt goes into the head is stripped inside...what should i do , try to tap it .???? help

I don't know whaty kind of room there is , but a heli-coil will be the only thing that will hold.

Well on my car same thing happened to one of my header bolts and i got the bolt out, lined the inside with a little JB Weld, let it dry for a day then went out next day and retapped and it still holding 2 years later. So not sure if it will work for ya but its always a possibilty, its cheaper than sending it in and having someone else do it. just an option. When it comes to my 450.......I would just buy a whole new head and not risk it.
