cylinder coated or sleeved?

is the cylinder coated or sleeved in the motor? i want to put in a new piston and the bikes got about 1000 hours on it lol and want to bore it or recoat it if i put a new one in it. or would it be ok?

Stock bore, cylinder is coated. If the cylinder is out of tolerance you may be able to have the cylinder replated.

id send it over to powerseal and have it recoated. They do amazing work

nikasil is some tough stuff, chances are its still perfect unless you ran it low on oil or sucked in some sand.

My bike had at least 400 hours on it before I installed my new piston, and the jug looked brand new.
