i phone ringtones

so how do i convert my songs from my ipod part to ringtones... someone said something about a file converter but i completely forget which one they recommended. please tell me theres a way, the ones that are already on it are gay as hell.

right click the song and click create ringtone...next part is self expanitory...then click on ringtones in your main menu on itunes and checkmark the ringtones u want;)

it won't let me...all it says is that I can buy songs from iTunes that I can make into ringtones. Since most of my songs are off of my CDs I'm not going to buy them again just to make them my ringtine ya kno?

Oh...well sounds like the best thing you can do is just buy the one or two you like most and make them a ringtone, BUT make sure its a ringtone song before you buy :p
