I picked this up a while back from a dealer in Califonia. These buggies are getting more and more popular since sand rails are getting completely out of reach, and Rhinos aren't far behind. I picked it up brand new for less than half of what a decent used Rhino costs, and it has a 67HP four cylinder, water cooled, fuel injected engine coupled to a 4-speed manual trans. It's a ton of fun, and it easily climbed everything at Coral Pink dunes with stock dirt tires. It was also a lot of fun to drive in the snow that we just got. Most of these buggies are manufactured in China (what isn't these days?), so the quality isn't quite up to Japanese standards, but I've had very little problems so far. It's definitely worth the money if you don't mind tinkering a little.

wow looks like a lot of fun. how much did it cost? and how fast does it go? (top speed)

i bet it would be pretty easy to get that thing road legal. that would be fun, you could drive on the road then cut across a few fields then back on the road again.

They sell something like that at the Gander Mountain down the road from me, there also 4cyl, but they have FOX shocks on them and they're street legal.

Also, they only have the small price tag of $10,000.

Pretty cool machine. That thing would be unreal with a turbocharger put on and some paddle tires.

The Joyners are the expensive ones, and probably what you saw for $10K. My buggy was $5,600 shipped to the nearest shipping terminal (Salt Lake Int'l Airport, about 30 minutes away from me). It has gone up in price since I bought it, but it's still cheaper, faster, and has better suspension than the Rhino. Mine is EPA and CARB approved, so depending on your state, you could probably make it street legal. It has a lower geared tranny for off-road driving, but it can probably hit 75-80 mph on a long straight stretch. Fox shocks are an option from the dealer, but you can use most 2" bodied off road shocks (King, Fox, RaceRunner, etc.).
You can buy a turbo kit for it that will push it up to close to 100 hp, but they are a little spendy. I think with a decent set of paddles it will go where I need to go.
The baby is the real reason we got it. You can strap the car seat in it and go for an easy trail ride, not to mention pack all of the food and gear for the people on quads. Just to be clear, she does not ride on my lap ever. If we take her, it's in her car seat and the buggy doesn't get out of second gear.

this made me have the dumbest funniest greatest idea haha. I wanna take a civic hatch chop the top put a roll cage strip everything inside besides 2 bucket seats, steering wheel, shifter, pedals, and radio. Lift it and put it on some big tires. Its stupid but funny to me. Like the time I wanted to buy a Del Sol and chop it and extend it to fit my 400ex in the back so its like a el camino. I have dumb ideas wih Hondas cars
