k guys so i go out to start my 01' sonoma today, it hasnt run in about 3 or 4 days, try to start it and it seems the minute the motor starts to turn over it makes a thud, and dies out. so i know this is bad.

Possibly a loose connection between the battery terminals?

Idk, thats what happened to us

no, starter does turn, and truck starts to turn over then it was making a thud and killing battery power and everything else right out. i didnt get it to start but its running very rough, is idling low, and stalled out twice. i think possibly my o2 censor is shot as well and my oil preasure regulator and sending unit, at least i think thats what its called

Mine is doing the same thing...

I did find that the starter wire on the solenoid of the starter was not connected. Check all your connections and wires. I found where I was loosing power with a volt meter. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to pick one up.
