Looks very good! Are you using a factory grill or something billet? From this angle the tires look a little narrow for my taste, they're probably 12.50's? I always liked something a little wider, like a 13.50 when you're running 35"+. Just my opinion though.

Looked at it again, maybe it is the angle. Any shots from the back?

that thing is sick. i think that a nice blue-ish tinted flame job on the sides would be sick. i want to see it all finished though lol

Yea kind of a weird angle the tires are actually 15/39.5-16.5, the lift is a 12" spring lift with 0 body lift.

Thanks man! And actually I might do some flat black flames on it, and I will definitely post up some pics of it when I finish. Right now im waiting on new bumpers front and rear, a new billet grille, and some other odds and ends to come in. All of the windows are tinted 15% and the windshield is tinted lightly at a 45%.

2 grand for paint not including bodywork but you can get it done much cheaper depending on the route that you want to go. I mean if your just looking for something inexpensive and quick you could do like a 1 day paint and body deal for 1500 for everything and that includes a 5+ year warranty. But if your wanting a show quality finish you could go all the way up to 5grand for a single color. Budget and purpose is what you need to consider when making your decision.

NICE TRUCK! I am chevy truck fanatic. I'm building a K5 Blazer with 14" of lift, 44's, supercharged Buick 455, and dana60 14bff combo. So I know how expensive they can get. What are the specs of the truck, motor, tranny, axles, tire size, ect. Any other plans for it?

Is that a short bed with 3/4 ton axles? It's kinda hard to judge the bed length in the pics.

Yes its a short bed! The front axel is a 3/4 ton 8 lug and the rear is a 1 ton Dana 60 with a 14 bolt main, also 8 lug.

Well its an 83 K-10 with a 350sb with a bunch of edlebrock stuff attached to it, MSD ignition, Turbo 400 3speed automatic tranny with a B&M shifter on the floor, Dana 44 up front with 12 bolt main, Dana 60 in the rear with a 14 bolt main, NP 205 transfer case and rear brake drums off of a military hummer.

Future plans include putting it together lol, and throwing my 250r in the back of it and making my way down to the Kermit sand dunes in Texas. Really though I only have a couple more things that I want to do to it, a winch up front and another winch in the bed, and oh, and I cant forget the two air horns from a train that I want to mount under the hood with their own compressor. I like my horns!

What are you running axle wise? Possibly a 12/14 bolt or D60 out back? Not a bad looking truck at all.

Edit: I read the second page and answered my questions

haha, how's that NP205 to lift up in there? It's a bi*tch isn't it? They're heavy as hell. It's always a pain putting it back up in my brother's lifted ranger, so I can feel your pain seeing they are about the same heigth.

What's all done to your D44?

Pvt. Maggot

Like the specs. I believe you have a 14bff rear. And if you intend on wheeling, you might wanna pickup a dana 60, as you'll be breaking alot of axle shafts in the dana44 with those tires.

this is a rear dana 60.

This is a 14bff

3/4 ton axles will hold up if he has it geared right...im hopin you are not running a stock gear ratio....4.88s all the way with them monster tires....id like to have me an OBS chevy like that to put custom pipe bumpers on it and what not to run thru the bush to hunt and 4 wheel out of....i wouldnt even lift it if i had it...id just cut the fender wells out of it and slap a set of 44s on it with some steep gears....5.13 and swamp the piss out of it

A D44 will handle 35's comfortably if you build them up a little bit. I'm currently saving up for CTM shafts and ujoints. For the extra money it gets you a lifetime warranty on the joints and a 10 year on the shafts. Also, you may want to look into swapping out the 44 knuckles for 50's or 60's. Quite a bit stronger.

haha my brother went the whole 9 yards and bought 2 1/2 ton rockwells.... Must be nice lol.

haha... very

He can't hold D60's under it. Usually breaks 60's after so long, so he's upgrading to the rockwells. The swap won't be done for a while since he's starting a family, but it'll be badass. Nothing like a mulit linked, bead locked, flexing machine. If he has the extra money, he's going to pick up another front axle and an extra rockram and convert to 4 wheel steer, but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. He's buying a trailer and F350 first to haul our trucks so we don't have to drive them to the trail. Within a few years, I won't be driving mine on the street anymore. I'm not doing anything too fancy. Just a beefed up locked D44 and a locked Sterling 10 1/2 with some deep gears. Not to mention the engine swap. I have quite a selection to choose from in the garage (4.0, 302, 351, 460), so we'll see lol

Edit: You guys may want to check out www.pirate4x4.com if you already haven't. Not too bad of site for offroading. Lots of great tech advice as well.

Thanks for the compliments guys! This truck is beefy enough right now for what its going to be used for. Which is basically to haul my R to the dunes and other out in the middle of nowhere locations with maybe an occasional mud pit thrown in here and there for good measure.
