Is any certain piston better than another? Like JE better than Wiseco or are they all about the same? If they are different could you explain why.

as far as i know wiseco, JE, and CP are all pretty much the best out there.

i have only had experience with Wiseco and i was very pleased the piston was really stong and lighter than stock so the bike reved quicker.

i personally have used a few wiseco pistons and never will again. I also see a lot of good about them.

i feel i've used enough of them to explain why i dislike them.

I had a BONE stock 250r i began running nitrous on not toooo long ago. i was running stock pistons in it and would burn a whole in em if i wasnt careful with how much and how often i sprayed. this was to be expected. it lasted a long time on the honda pistons then everyone i new was saying "go forged" get a wiseco. so i said wth ok. i ended burning a hole in all 3 first try out with about a 5-15 shot of nitrous. then went back to a stock piston. now there are obviously a lot of factors here but in my case the stock ones worked much better for me.

i've used cp, ross, and j.e. with all great results though. ESPECIALLy ross
