Grain bin @ the coop on fire!!

Well one of the grain bins at our coop is currently on fire. We had to evacuate work. I live in a small town so about 1/2 the town 450 people had to leave work and their houses. The cool thing was I had to be at work @ 3 pm so when I pulled in the parking lot everyone was going outside saying that we were being evacuated so my roomate who also works with me, we went to his dads house for 3 1/2 hours while we were clocked in....its all good...the grain bin has not blown yet, think the FD is doing some good...

thats gotta suck. we had a small bin blow up once. the wheat dust ignited and kaboom.

yeah its always cool when someones chit burns down or blows up:huh


maybe explain a lil about what a grain bin and a coop are....im quite sure there are a ton of folks here that aint gotta clue:p

had a tire bin thing catch fire, talk about a bad smell for about a month

yea our barn burnt down allmost a year ago, that sucked the big one, but luckily i had my quad and dirtbike in the other shed i moved them the day before it burnt down
