Hello,

Well I recently picked up a Wiseco 416cc 11:1 piston. But right now, I have a J.E. 416cc 10:1 piston in my engine. Heres my question:

Do I have to rebore for the Wiseco piston or will it be the same as the J.E. piston, and I could just leave it as is?

Thanks

rebore is not neccasary as they should both be 87mm piston.

however, due to differences in manufacturing tolerances you should have it checked. one piston may be slightly larger than the other so it may require some slight modifications like honing of the cylinder to size.

it should be ok, just make sure to check your bore first.

but your wiseco 11:1 probably won't really be any higher in compression than your JE 10:1. IMO it is a waste to put it in unless there is somethin wrong with the JE.
