07 outlaw on layaway any problems

hey riders. Is there any problems with the 07 outlaw before I bring it home I would like the dealer to make the changes before I bring her home.

I have a 08 irs, no problems at all. Reverse is a little tricky to get into but the more you ride it the better it gets. Very nice bike's. Congradulations!

The only Problem I see is that it is on layaway :rolleyes:

No complaints with my 07 outlaw.

I have ridden the crap out of it.

Replaced 2 seat grommets, and the steering stem bushing all doen under warranty. I had to replace a cv boot but I rammed a stick through it.

Just would like to jet it before it comes out of the shop can I keep the stock pipe and jet it.
Alot of night riding and I want to keep under the radar.

Yes you can rejet without changing the exhaust. THe bike does come lean. I had my JD jet kit here before the bike even showed up.

is it a stage 1 or how does it go for the jd jet kit

Don't confuse yourself with stages that is a useless term. Changes to jetting is to allow optimum fuel to air adjustments for proper engine tuning.

JD's Kit is a complete kit that includes all the jets, needles, etc. that you would need.

They have been making kits for the ktm engines for a long while.

THe 525 comes from the factory very lean in order to pass epa inspections. THis causes the engine to run hotter and not at peak performance.

The kit will alow you to adjust for that as well as all elevation variations.

In the future if change to a high flow air cleaner setup, free flowing exhaust, (or since it is an 07 buy the exhaust tip),
the kit has the needed jets for those changes also.

Pick up a few spare spark plugs and do some plug chops after every change.

So for the stock set up with the exhaust tip which number jets should I use.

there is one little problem that i know of ,seams the rear sprocket
has been known to fall off ,i know of 4 that did and of one more that caught it in time .

Just before you take it out the first time take out the 4 rear sprocket bolts, blue locktite them and torque them back on (26 ft-lbs). Won't have a problem again.
