IM WANTING TO PUT A CAM IN MY O5 NOT SURE WHAT IS THE BEST. IVE HEARD THE HRC KIT IS GOOD BUT I DONT NEED ALL THE EXTRA STUFF IT COMES WITH. NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS HERE.:devil:

No cam really is THE best. It might be the best choice for a certain application, but that doesn't mean that it will be the best for all or fit every rider. The HRC cam for the 05 is an excellent top end cam, but lacks bottom compared to others. It may fit your style, it may not.

So, what are you planning on doing with your bike? Knowing that could help people recommend a cam that will work for you, be it bottom end, top end, all around, what ever.

MORE THAN ANYTHING I RIDE IN TRAILS BUT I ALSO DO SOME STUNT RIDING. BUT WHEN I RIDE IN TRAILS THEY HAZVE HUGE HILLS SO IM GUESSING I REALLY WANT MORE BOTTOM END AND TOP END

well, a stage 2 hotcam might be good for ya. if anything drop your front sprocket one tooth and you will gain more bottom end but less topend but that will be good for hill climbs and get ya up to speed faster for freestyle. Anyway, good luck with your choice.

i have a hotcam stage 2 in my 05' and it helped a lot in bottom to mid power...i did that and went down to a 13 tooth on the front of mine....i race XC and it is a great combo
