rule of thumb normally is to buy a board that is long enough to touch your chin or neck area.

weight is also a key factor in determining size because of flotation.

Don't forget riding style really makes a difference too. Park boards are alot shorter than "Alpine" boards.

Get one in between 154 to 161 and you will be fine. You may also look for one that is wider. With a size 12 you might get alot of toe drag unless you get a wider board.

ya go for a 148-155. The shorter the board the easier it will be to turn and manuever, but the longer it is the easier to ride straight and stay up. If your gonna do a lot of park riding go with a smaller board that comes up to around your neck area. If you need any other help IM me ive been boarding for 10yrs

definitely go for a wider board, i know it will leave you with less to choose from but in the it's better than your toes hanging over the edge of the board.

you dont want a wide board for freestyling

yeah but you also dont want toes dragging.. its a bad deal and you wont be able to setup properly for any type of trick if you cant speed check at least a little.

i wear 12s and ive never had a problem with my toes dragging
unless you have really monstrous feet you shouldnt have a problem
