ok i need to ask when everyone did their cams how do you know if the stock rocker arms were still good enough to use on a new hot cam , i know you can use stock and can you use the six degree key with a stage 2 hotcam and then later i might want to bore out to a 416 or so will this setup work
thanks for the help

You can visually inspect them. You should see marks where the cam runs across them, as long as they are just marks and not indented into the metal you are fine. If you have been running a stock cam there should be no reason your rockers would need to be replaced. If you do replace them, replace them with stock ones again not hardened rockers as they will ruin any hot cam, drop in cam, or stock cam. Hardened rockers are for re-welded hardened aftermarket cams. rockers must match the metal of the cam. Hardened cam needs hardend rockers. Drop in cams like a hot cam needs stock rockers. If you mix the two up any way you will mess up which ever compnent is made of the softer (Non-hardened) metal.
