Ski shocks on an ATV

Has anyone ever used snowmobile shocks on their quad? If so how did they work out?

What would be the point? Chances are the extended and compressed lengths would be way off, and if they were correct the valving and the spring rates would be off because of the weight difference and balance between the two machines. Would be easier to just get shocks made for the quad in question.

one of my friends uses skidoo mxz springs on her ltr becausethe ltr springs were too stiff for her, and one of my other friends used his stock z400 shocks on his 03 mxz500 i dont know if that is the answer you were looking for
