idk if any of you guys have had this problem but when i go to invite my friend or if a friend goes to invite me to a party i will click yes and like 5 seconds later the screen goes black and says Error: cannot connect to host. any 1 else have this problem? its on ps3

did you update everything up to spec? I know they have been working on connection problems. I havent been on in about 2 weeks but its probably all the new people that just got the ps3 and game for xmas and its overloading the server. It happened a month ago when the Europeans would play during the day and people in the U.S. wouldnt be able to get on.

yeah i updated everything.. i try and to it again just to make sure

what you need to do is start a private party, then invite your friends, then go and search for the types of games you want to play. It makes it much easier
