Netgear problem

I have a netgear wireless router and i can't connect to it with my new laptop. I know there is something goofy I have to do does anyone know?

yes but it will not connect. My old laptop would but it had a netgear wireless card because it was older

Hmm... Well I had an issue with a linksys about it seeing the network and not connecting properly. Was due to the security enabled on the wireless connection where you needed a key. Just had to reset the key on the router since I forgot what I had it set to.

From netgears site itself. It may help to have the model of the router to further look onto netgears site in more detail.

I don't think that helps me there support line won't help me because my warrenty has expired? WTF

I have netgear, and it stopped connecting to my laptop wirelessly, we just bought some other router. But you could just plug in your laptop directly.
