LRD Complete system
416 Kit
TC Cam
Viton Valve seals

Anything else you would recomend or something you would change? Any pics of your New LRD pipe?

Sounds like a nice setup...LRD makes a cam...maybe go with theirs though?

yzf400ex since you live in athens not too far from For Dirt Only why don't you take your motor up to him and have him put in a 426 or 463 for you? just a thought

nice 400!! How much is there cam?

Casue i just want a 416 and cam nuthin special and im not paying a ****load for and easy task. I seen u a few weekends ago in a chavy 2500 with a 250r in the back and a grey trailer with nacs sticker heading from jacks to millfield about 1100 in the morning.

I got the

416 kit
lrd exhuast
xr400 cam
viton valve seals

and what made the hole engine complete was the fcr39mm carb,,, highly recomended for a built motor.

If you get a LRD Pipe I would go with a LRD Cam. It would just work better. All the parts the Engine Builders make are built around their Pipes and setups. Get the JE Piston, but then go with a LRD Cam, which I think you have to get Valves and Rockers, Valve Seals, and the Exhaust. If you have the money get the FCR from LRD too.

Well how much is there cam and is it drop in cam. Eventually i will get the FCR but for now i want to do the motor work y its winter. Thanks

I got my LRD Exhaust from Pro Parts Racing (1-866-PRO-PARTS) for $430.00...I believe you need hardened rockers, etc. with LRD's Cam...

Nope i dont have time this winter. And im getting my liscens this spring so im gonna try to just live with what i got and mod it. Thanks

Yes you do have to get LRD Rockers and Valve Springs with their Cam. I still highly suggest you get their Cam, or get a TC Pipe. LRD Performance (http://www.lrdperformance.com)

When I talked to Hetrick's I told him I had a TC Pipe and he said I better get the TC Cam. I would think it would be the same, TC Cam get a TC Pipe. Call and ask him.

Ok Well i think i know its a sudden change but the CT racing pipe is starting to look nice with there drop in cam and a JE 416 kit and eventually an FCR carb would be a great setup.
