Best YFZ 450 exhaust

I'm looking to give my new stock YFZ450 a little extra HP. Planning to purchase a full exhaust system, K&N filter, and jet kit. Need a system that has the spark arrestor insert (and quiet core capable) to keep the forestry folks happy. Not looking for the sickly loud pipes. Any comparison reports out there?

Also interested in which ones NOT to buy. Thanks!

You're asking for the "Best YFZ450 exhaust" and then say it has to be quiet? Your "Best" pipes are going to be your most noisy ones in most instances. There are some good pipes with quiet cores but their not going to perform as well in most instances. There are many good recreational pipes out there. Just do some research on pricing.

I have had a hmf tc and a yoshimura.I like the yoshimura the most.

whether u get a quiet core or not, all of the good "best pipes" will still be loud as hell... you'll still get complained at trust me.

anyways i would go with the pro circuit t4....i know alot of yfz's around here that run them, and say nothing but good things about em.

i'll be puttin one on mine if it doesnt sell and i keep it

The "new" GYTR, Rossier, Sparks...

The new GYTR is supposed to be a great pipe, and not as loud as the others. had a Rossier and sold it. Good pipe and good people to deal with. Highly reccomoned them. I just bought a new style GYTR to replace it, I hope I get the same power in a quieter package.

THE BEST PIPE FOR THE YFZ450 IS DEFINATELY THE CURTIS SPARKS!!! IT GIVES YOU POWER THROUGHOUT ALL OF THE GEARS! YOU WILL PROBABLY GET COMPLAINTS ON THE SOUNDS BUT, YOU WILL GET YOUR POWER OUT OF IT!!

On my Yammi i have ran yosh, tc, rossier, hmf, sparks, AC.

HMF is for sure bottom of the list. Sounds like you need the AC FLOW! Puts out great power, more on the dyno than any other pipe for the yfz. It's also extremely quiet. Around 98 db i believe when my rossier and sparks i think were at 110db.

im probably buying the yoshi rs7 tonight and i need the same kind of pipe you need. Does anyone know how good the yoshi pipe is?..... its that or the rs2 and i want to race with it 2 so idk.

I race and tried the Motoworks SR4 and it is by far the best pipe i have seen both in looks, sounds and power gain, it gave me 6 hp on the dyno. plus it sounds great and you want have people getting pissed.
