Thanks everyone for your prayers. We came home this afternoon. Still not really sure what is wrong but they believe it is just a viral infection that left him dehydrated and causing the fever. After 3 1/2 days on the IV bottle it was removed when he would drink on his own. He still is developing a fever every 9-12 hours but is steadily getting better.
I would like to share a couple important medical lessons I have learned from this.

1 When your body is dehydrated it will reject fluids unless slowley sipped over a long period of time. You cannot just drink a couple large glasses of water and everythimg will be ok, It will come back up faster than you poured it down. I seen it to many times Thursday- Saturday. Take slow sips of water over several hours.

2 Do not give children motrin on an empty stomache, I would not as an adult either. It will cause ulsers in your stomache which will burst very fast. Tylenol is best.

One other thing I would like to share is how Christmas does suck when you spend it in the hospital, but with great friends and family It is not the worst thing in the world. There are alot of great people out there that do wonderful things to keep a childs Christmas special when in the hospital. Once again thankyou everyone out there that has helped our said a prayer.

I am attaching a link from an article about two 11 year old girls that everyone should read about giving.

I remember when my Daughter had the Roto virus, it was pretty scary... NOTHING would stay in her and she dropped ALOT of weight FAST. After losing a child from a virus the year before, I was scared to death!

Also when you are dehydrated, its harder to find veins for the IV,especially in children. :( sometimes they have to have them in there feet, head, between the fingers ect...

I hope your Son feels better VERY soon!
My families prayers are with you .
