Which is the best type of repair manual to get?

I have owned Clymer and the OEM Honda manual and the OEM manual is the way to go.

I've always really liked Honda OEM manuals. They're really good. Other manufactures' OEM manuals aren't as good. On a 400EX, I'd take the OEM. On a Banshee, an aftermarket manual might be better.
Having any service manual is good enough.

Yea I definitely need a manual of sorts. I just picked up my first ATV 2 weeks ago. Its an 02 400ex with a dead battery and an oil leak. Pappy will be getting me a battery. I like giving business to forum people.
I was told there was a jet kit installed; I have no clue what exactly that is, and a muffler.
