05 carb on 06 450r

i am fed up with how my 06 450er starts when warm...i was told by someone that a carb with hot start will help...so i have bought an 05 450r carb to test this out before i drop big money on the frc replacement. i know the fcr is better, i just want to test the theory, and the 05 carb will eventually be on my wifes 400ex so...

has anyone done this? besides the carb, and adding a hot start lever, what else do i need? i have purchased the carb, but not received it yet...any help would be great...

or if someone has an fcr carb w/hot start they would be willing to trade for my frc carb, i would go that route too...

The CRF FCR carbs come with hot start.

I can tell u that the the air box won't line up to the carb unless u have the 05 air box and i believe that the boot has a different size hole so it won't fit the carb correctly.
