Need Help with my 400ex

My 400ex recently dropped a valve and crushed the pistion. And am guessing that some metal chips fell down into the bottom end. I was wondering if any one had any idea as to how i could get the pieces of the pistion out of the bottom end with out taking the bottom end apart. Any help would be great.

I really don't think that an easy solution is going to be possible. Since metal could literally be EVERYWHERE! You could try flushing the engine but I don't think that will get you anywhere. All it'll take is one piece that you missed to ruin your day again. Looks like this might be a winter project for you. Just take your time and take the whole engine apart. There are plenty of threads on this forum with help and ideas how to do this. Now might also be a good time to get a service manual. Good luck.
