The PC 2000 is Duncan's powevalved cylinder.

It is supposed to be awesome.

how would a 416 kit with a sparks cam, sparks x-6 exhaust and a 10.5:1 compression piston compare to the pc2000, what would i have to do to my 400 to be up to pace

this is on a MX track so i guess it will come down to who is a better rider.

PC2000s are wicked fast, a 400ex will not keep up period, im sure that the kid who has it is a decent rider, for a 400ex to beat one it is going to take a rider that is twice as good...also i think i would rather have a PC2000 than a dale dave, especially if you house it in a good chassis

That PC2000 or the Sparks 265 Powervalve are both the best. The 250 would fly with either one, but if you don't have a good suspension setup it won't matter what motor you have.

the kid who has it is supposed to be good, his R has EVERYTHING known to man including the pc 2000, axis shocks...etc.. i seen him race and hes this cocky kid who races for a local shop on long island, i won't even give the name. i just can't wait till next year when i pounce him. yes i have suspension all ready ordered and on the way along with a arms and a 416 kit from sparks and im also getting his x-6 pipe. he might not be easy to beat but im gonna give it my best next year. i plan on training hard over the winter and trying to ride as much as possible while re doing my quad..ill keep you posted when i do race this kid :macho

I have the dirtwheels article with spader's PC 2000 bike. In it's first year he got 80% of the holeshots!!! That thing must be wicked fast!!

Yea but you can quarntee they spend 10 times the amount of time on spaders engine when compared to some random customer. A guy around me has a spader replica bike straight from duncan. It's not all that fast. A fellow rider Absolutley distroys him on his lrd 330,no powervalve. Im not sure if that tells you anything. Also you wont need to be twice as good as him to ride a 400ex just as fast. The bike is a small percentage as long as its got some good motor mods and suspension/chassis. The way I see it is. You guys look pretty close in the quad department. so your skill level will determine the outcome. He might have you in the straights, but Coming out of corners fourstrokes have an advantage.

well yeah a 330 will be faster than a 265, the powervalve just smooths out the power, gives it a lowend characteristic that will kepp him comin out of the corners like nobodys buisness. plain and simple, if 400exs could keep up, the pros would run them...im not bias either way, im racing a 400ex next year too...

Until you get to the Nationals, the quad really doesn't matter. Once you race a National that is more wide open, a 250r would kill a 400, but they are in different classes. Don't worry about him and just go race and see what happens.

OH come on, the quad matters at every race..im just assuming they are both decent riders, national or no national title, the quad matters give me and an exact copy of me a 400ex and a PC2000 ....the PC2000 will get around the track faster...but i do agreee with your last sentence

I didn't mean the quad didn't matter at all. Heck yeah if you are both the same skill and he has a Moto and you a 400, he would beat you. Some local guys are full of it though, so find out what he has.
