with the nut that holds the hub on, how did you guys get it off? i tried everything and it wont move. it isnt reverse threads is it? it should be metric right, because i cant fit a 26 on but a 27 has a little bit of play. any suggestions?

They aren't 'reverse' thread and the stock ones should be 27mm. They are torqued to 101+ ft. lbs so it'll take some muscle to break them free. Assuming the cotter pin is removed? No pieces stuck in there?

A length of sturdy pipe on the ratchet should help.

Time for a "cheater bar" or impact gun, It'll come off. You might want to get some heat to it as well... When you do get it off make sure to apply anti-seize compound so that it'll come off a little better next time.
