what is your favorite 18 in mx tire for the 450r?

well ive only rode razr mx's, kendas, itp mxr6's and quad crosses. quad crosses where my favorite hands down

For what track condition? hard pack, loose, blue groove, etc.

I run the Maxxis Mx tire.Nice tire and very cost effective...I hear good things about the Kendas too i think ITP's are overpriced!!!!

Didn't care for Kenda Klaws. Maxxis Razr are good and also like the BKT tires which are similar to the Razr. They are a 4ply so a little stronger and work great!

holeshot and kenda fronts are real good, i cant stand razr fronts, they have no grip, holeshot rears hook really good but when they are new thet dont slide the best, razr rears arent the greatest but if u get the soft compound ones they work a little better, kenda rears are good, ive only tried the klaws but im gonna get knarly's and sx klaws to try soon

Kenda Knarly ST for rear. For front, on hard pack, grooved khumo radials, and for everything else, kenda klaw.

ive ran itps for years......... 20" fronts with 18 10 8 rears are my best fit for a tire........ mxr6

I also run the the kenda knarly St there the best tire Ive found for all conductions they do wear fast due to the soft compound but they are a little lower priced comparided to ITP's They other set I like is a set of RAZR MX's I took to my local tire shop and the took a semi tire groover and cut all the razr lugs in half this made a big improvement but it did sacrifice some wear I know some guys getting some race take off razr's at the nationals from the pros and they swear by them I dont what the razr race compounds cost new but I bet there high
