Is it time for new seals?

I am thinking I need new seals because after I start it up it smokes for about 15 minutes (10 minutes after its warmed) and when I start it up, this horrible smell come out fom somewhere and it smell of burning rubber. I think I need new seals. If I do, would I be able to do it myself?
