They are only a 100 watts RMS, that is about the equivelant of a upgraded 5" door speaker.

how much money you lookin to spend man? whats it going in? do you have an amp? going for the biggest speaker you can fit wont always get the best or loudest sound. you have to make sure its in the right box with the right amp with the right air space. i dont know much. i just know a few basics but check out some memphis audio if you have a lil extra cash to spend. quality sound. i've had 2 12" and memphis pr1000 amp in my old truck- sounded great. now i got a 1 10" memphis speaker with a 500 watt memphis amp in my new truck- sounds great. memphis puts out really quality sound/

5" sub wont have very low response.. maybe 50Hz at best..

itd be good cheap alternative for replacement woofers in a box speaker set.. not much more

if you google that model#, youll find them for a little of nothing all over.. look for the best shipping.

i would keep looking if i wanted a subwoofer.

I just got a 12" PB sub, and I know it's not the greatest, but I got a killer deal on it off a friend so I had to jump on it. It bangs for the buck though.

they are going in a 94 toyota pickup. i cant realy go with any thing bigg because there is no room its an extended cab but there isnt a space under the seat to put a box becuase ther is a cumpartment thing under the seat so i was thinkin about using the compartment thing as a box with a little work .... sorry if its kinda confusing ill try to get some pics later... i was going to put mabe 3 of the 5" in idk wat the air space is yet ... it should be like 60 cubic inches or around that... would that be ennough for 3 5" ones? i no it wont be the greatest but i want it to sound ok.... thanx

Why not an 8 inch sub?

Systems are nothing you should rush into or you will regret getting it when you know you could have gotten something better for the price. Look around or get on a car audio forum and do some research. Maybe even look for used stuff, but be carefull looking for used audio equipment over the internet, some people might sell you something bad!
