I';ve never compared the 2 but from what i"ve read you can notice some difference with grinding out the welds... Installing a powerbong there's not some difference there's a very noticable difference in power.

Will the power bomb fit onto a white brothers e-series? If so will it help out on power gains?

Any of you put the Powerbong header on with your stock muffler??

the powerbomb header will work with any slip-on silencer designed to fit the stock header. Its a very compatable header.

With a 10.8 to 1 compression, 22" rear tires w/14 t front sprocket, K&N w/lid on, and stock exhaust... I have a very noticeable "bog", especially going up hills. Once it passes the "bog", an explosion of power!

I put on an aftermarket slip-on to try out. The slip-on has 2 baffles to set up with, giving 3 choices. The small baffle performance is worse than the stock setup, the middle is an improvement, and without the baffle (wide open) is unbeliveable power... With no sign of a bog... But comes with a very loud bark!

My goal is to be as quiet as possible, but keep the performance. Sounds like I need to try the FMF Powerbong, huh??

It did at first marlin but a change in the pilot jet from 38 to a 42 and a few adjustments of the airscrew fixed the bog problem. The bog was at the bottom end of the power,,and like you said then it was bam,,tons of power...just don't expect it to muffle the noise too much,,I'd say you'll loose at the most 5 decibals..but it does add power from top to bottom I think..

Rico,

are you just scotting with it, or did you find some racks? Or do you plan to drag your prize behind you 416? Did the stock muffler suffocate your engine with your mods?

YEs it did,,it is a mofo ta start now with the stock exhaust on there. And I'm serious,,I use it ta get to and from the stand..I never crack down on it and race across the fields or anything. If i do get one we use my uncles polaris 500 sportsman ta haul bambi out with. It sure beats walkin in, that's fer sure. I'll have some pics up monday of it..see I have a 250r hood on it so I don't have any headlights I had to rig my stockers up on the handybars,,right next to my rifle..:huh :huh
